David Cook Galleries

David Cook Fine Art is the most recent addition to our existing antique American Indian gallery in Lower Downtown Denver. Adjacent to the distinguished Denver landmark, the Oxford Hotel, the Fine Art gallery showcases American regional art from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The gallery specializes in Rocky Mountain and early Colorado art including artists affiliated with the Broadmoor Art Academy in Colorado Springs and the Chappell House (forerunner to the Denver Art Museum).  The gallery also focuses on New Mexico art including the Santa Fe and Taos schools; California plein-air and impressionism; and other early western American subject matter including Arizona and Utah related material. The style of material is largely modernist, plein-air, impressionist, and abstract.
